I had a great day touring the desert with Saleh's son, ending the day with a beautiful sunset and dinner at the camp in the desert.
After an excellent night in the beautiful accommodation, a traditional breakfast saw me set for the day.
I wholeheartedly recommend the experience.
I just wish I had more time to spend with the family!
I must commend my friend Saleh on his Wadi Rum Tour Business. I myself am an international traveler and I have experience in Egypt and in Jordan
Specifically, having worked with other bedouins i can say that Saleh specifically is a safe conscientious integritus choice. You do not have to worry about people being forced to serve you that are not quite being paid, or that may not be there of their own volition. There are men and women that work with him, part of his family. So he's safe for everyone who wants to travel who may have women and children in their party and want a mixture to bring balance to thier travel adventure. Acommading and patient he is by far my first choice in all my endeavors in the wadi rum an incredible wild untouched undeveloped wilderness Rich in Mountains Stars and Mysteries . 5 Stars 🌟
They took us out to explore the desert, showing us the beauty and secrets of Wadi Rum. His wife cooked us an amazing traditional dinner, and his son guided us through the desert with so much knowledge and kindness, explaining everything along the way.
The camp itself was spotless, comfortable, and located in such a beautiful, peaceful spot inside Wadi Rum (specially to watch the sunset). Sleeping there felt magical. 🌌
We left feeling like we were part of their family. Truly one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. 🙏🐪
Saleh and his son made sure not only that all basic hospitality requirements are all met, but they also do the extra miles by providing friendship and abundance of information and stories.
We will definitely go to Saleh's again InshaaAllah.
We spent 1 day and 1 night at Saleh's camp and it was everything we wanted.
When we first arrived we felt right at home as we were welcomed into their house for tea and snacks.
Did a short 1 hour tour and then we were treated to an amazing homemade lunch from Saleh's wife.
After lunch Saleh's oldest son took us on a 6 hour adventure around Wadi Rum and all the sights, most of them we ended up having to ourselves.
After the tour we were brought back to camp, first impressions are always something and this place did not disappoint.
Our room was a 2 person Bedouin cabin with a small window with a huge view.
Saleh has multiple buildings for small to large groups and everything in-between.
Please note this is not the giant companies with domes and A/C and pools, Saleh's camp is a family run business and is more authentic with simple rooms and great views.
After check in we went to an amazing sunset spot, then we were called for another home cooked meal.. Spectacular.
Our night was filled with drum lessons and conversation by the fire.
I highly recommend it.
