Independent trekking
(one day or one-day-and-one-night, or longer)
For those who want to enjoy the echoing emptiness of Rum on their own. The mysteries of Wadi Thabet or the special world of Burragh Canyon -- safe and secluded, on the eastern margins of Wadi Rum, away from most visitors.

1 2 3
The idea is simple. You are free to trek and wander around Wadi Rum, with Saleh in support.
For example Saleh can set up camp for you at one end of Burragh Canyon; he cooks dinner; gives you directions and instructions for the following day; provides food for breakfast (and lunch if you wish) then leaves you.
You wake when you want, get up when you want and explore the canyon and beyond at your own pace, leaving Saleh to collect the tent and re-erect it at your next destination ready for your arrival. This enables you to experience the peace and the quiet majesty of Rum, without having to lug around your luggage and safe in the knowledge that you are being professionally supported. It can also be perfect for a family adventure; or a group leadership or bonding exercise.

Saleh will rendezvous with you for lunch (if you want) or you can just meet up again in the early evening, having had the chance to take as long as you want to examine any and every aspect of Wadi Rum that intrigues you, for example at the exit to Burragh Canyon are some of the best ancient inscriptions and drawings in the whole protected area. You have all the freedom of an independent traveller but with the luxury that someone knows where you are and will be around to look after you.
