(the traditional bedouin food is cooked by Saleh's wife Alia, not some outside Egyptian cook!)

This is what you pay. There are no hidden additional costs. Our tour costs are the same for
one person, a couple or a family; the differences above relate only to meals.

All our tour prices above include the cost of water, tea and coffee and Arabic bread.

NB the above costs do not include the 5JD entry fee per adult into the Wadi Rum protected area; this is to
cover the cost of conservation -- please pay this on arrival.  Camels too are extra, see below.

SPECIAL GROUP CAMPING TOURS
(minimum group size -- 5 people)
40 JDs per person for a full day/night tour, including lunch, dinner, camping and breakfast
and a personal itinerary for the group!!      -- plus 5 JDs per adult for entrance to Wadi Rum.

Saleh's beautiful 'boutique' camp is at the heart of the protected area (in a secluded hollow under Jebel
Khazali about 9kms from Rum village).  It has modern bathroom facilities (but please use water carefully).
Most people who stay are families but we're happy to take other groups.  The maximum on any one night
is three groups or families (20 people) in the nine tents.  So it is always small and friendly;
not mass tourism at all!!

All tours must be booked in advance and you must present the official booking form at the Visitor Centre.

NB this is NOT a big camp; it's personal and individual; most of the time you travel with Saleh or his
wonderful brother Attiyak; we take a maximum of three groups on any day.  At busy times of the year
we do not charge extra, Saleh still organises everything but you may travel with Saleh's cousin.
